Yes, it's kind of like a storage device. If you see stuff left on there from apps you do not use then it's probably OK to remove it. Just be careful.
if you know that a specific folder is for a certain app that you have removed then by all means go ahead and remove it. If your not sure or cant figure out what it goes to leave it there.
if your not sure on a folder sometimes you can go into the folder and look at the files to figure out what it goes to in most cases.
last option ask here in the forums chances are someone else has the same folder and can help.

The Android files I have on my Computer run deep, I could probably compile my own source ROM
I even have some old 2.0.1 AdamZ Smoked Glass Nandroid Backups (if anyone is interested) lmao
I still have the 2.01 Virginoem.zip. Think anyone will ever want to back to that!!!
I have mine as well. I would how a VZW cs would act if I flashed the Vigiinoem and took my phone back

Lol, my backups folder on my Pc is 25gb. I think i still have my bugless beauty and my adamz backup as well. Sad how they just sit their.... I think im a bakup hoarder.
