An upgrade to battery left wouldn't fix the LED issue though and that's almost more of a headache to me to be honest. It is almost useless now since for the majority of the time my phone is on its red because the phone thinks its about to die.
Remember that headache is a short lived thing just to get bettery left calibrated.... most folks never get into that zone anyway.
but if you do, just think of it as being in overtime..... I use the Mv reading as my true gauge anyway.... the blinking light alone "when working right" gives you no clue as to when its really going to die.....
too bad they didn't implement a slower and slower blink factor as the mv reading drops... that would be cool!
I agree, the best indicator is the mV left. I was mainly using the LED to let me know I had mail or messages though so for me it has become pretty useless. Maybe if the thing could still flash green then red I would still be happy .

True.. seems the biggest hassle is that the red blinking light overides your other notifications.
If you can still get to the market i would imagine you get the update when it's released. I'm just guessing about that.
For those incredible owners, does anyone have an extended battery and does the incredible measure it correctly?

I haven't noticed any complaints yet.. but haven't been digging for it either.. the 1750mah is out... that may be too close to notice much difference.. the real question will be how the 3500mah will react with the firmware.
I know roughly 4200 mv is a full charge. Questions are...
For a non rooted droid (if that matters) what is the close to shut off mv level?
Someone wake me up when an app that can correctly (at least closely) tell where the battery is at in terms of time used, and time left, and maybe even %%'s.
Until then, its like buying a New Porshe and tearing out the gas tank gauge. A tach is fine...it can be going 3800 rpm, and then if you run out of gas-guess what.....You still have an inanimate piece O steel sittin' next to the road!
I'll be over here, waitin'!
