Seidio 2600mAh extended battery

An upgrade to battery left wouldn't fix the LED issue though and that's almost more of a headache to me to be honest. It is almost useless now since for the majority of the time my phone is on its red because the phone thinks its about to die.

Remember that headache is a short lived thing just to get bettery left calibrated.... most folks never get into that zone anyway.

but if you do, just think of it as being in overtime..... I use the Mv reading as my true gauge anyway.... the blinking light alone "when working right" gives you no clue as to when its really going to die.....
too bad they didn't implement a slower and slower blink factor as the mv reading drops... that would be cool!

I agree, the best indicator is the mV left. I was mainly using the LED to let me know I had mail or messages though so for me it has become pretty useless. Maybe if the thing could still flash green then red I would still be happy :).

True.. seems the biggest hassle is that the red blinking light overides your other notifications.

I really hope when 2.2 comes out they allow the phone to more accurately read the battery level of an extended battery. I also hope 2.2 comes out soon, haha.

If it does.. I wonder if my moto will get the update... its not activated.... I can still access the web and the market on it.. just not make calls.

So I guess we're never getting a SLIM + Extended battery? Sigh. Droid users getting shafted by newer devices =[

I am begining to enjoy the blinking red light, also I enjoy the notification on my lockscreen all day that say's "Connect your Charger" Like I have heard others say it lets me know I am doing something some others cannot, putting in overtime

If you can still get to the market i would imagine you get the update when it's released. I'm just guessing about that.
For those incredible owners, does anyone have an extended battery and does the incredible measure it correctly?

I haven't noticed any complaints yet.. but haven't been digging for it either.. the 1750mah is out... that may be too close to notice much difference.. the real question will be how the 3500mah will react with the firmware.

Is THAT BATTERY and Battery Left not resolved YET?????

Someone wake me up when an app that can correctly (at least closely) tell where the battery is at in terms of time used, and time left, and maybe even %%'s.

Until then, its like buying a New Porshe and tearing out the gas tank gauge. A tach is fine...it can be going 3800 rpm, and then if you run out of gas-guess what.....You still have an inanimate piece O steel sittin' next to the road!

I'll be over here, waitin'!

My wife has the Eris and I got her the 3500mah battery and her phone and Battery Left reads it correctly. When her phone is fully charged Battery Left says shes has 61+hours of life. I know it is just the Moto Droid that has this issue with reading the battery correctly and it is a huge problem.

I just got the extended battery and case for my Moto Droid, Haven't plugged it in yet waiting til I lay down, I've been reading this thread for days waiting for it to get here. I fully understand the intial charge cycle, I know roughly 4200 mv is a full charge. Questions are...

For a non rooted droid (if that matters) what is the close to shut off mv level?

I'm going to verizon tomorrow because my phone keeps rebooting itself, no rhyme or reason, sometimes twice a day sometime 3 times an hour, sometimes while gaming or browsing, sometimes when idle. I've read about this problem and says the only real solution is getting a new phone which Verizon seems to be allowing, only thing is mine didnt do it for the first 3 months ive had it just all of a sudden. I did a factory reset, still does it. Anyway I'm getting off point, I'm going to let it charge tonight on my phone and hopefully have a new one tomorrow because I don't think it will be a good idea to break in the new battery on a phone that reboots like this. Hmm come to think of it I guess I shouldn't plug it in tonight either considering it could reboot in the night. Would this be an accurate assesment?

Root/No Root, doesn't matter, mine gives out around 3400/3500mv when it starts to get down to these levels it goes pretty fast, but it takes a long time to get there, after the break in period of the battery if you just charge the phone every night you will never have a problem of making it thru a full day of heavy use, at least I never have

Or you put in a gas gauge that measures gallons, not Full-1/2-Empty. Any battery app (like Battery Left) that displays mV works for now. You know that once you hit 3500mV it's time to get to a charger.

I do have a question....how long should the extended battery be charged (from battery dead) in order to know it's full? This is using A/C for charging. I mean, is 12 hours enough or is 18 hours better?
