Does the seidio case make it so the phone is hard to pull out of your pocket? Cause some cases I've used on different devices created a lot of friction between my pants and the case

I don't think so. It isn't rubbery like a skin. I always keep mine in my pocket.

I just took my case off to clean out the dust under it and I noticed that the case damaged the back of my phone. There's a small gash on the top left of my phone due to a square of plastic sticking up in the back of my case. Anyone else see this on their phone/case ?

ouch. can you take a picture? that sucks, we don't get cases to damage our phones, we get them to protect....

The damage is minor but I paid $30 for this case and it does this. I'll try to get a picture of it if I can find a camera. I am going to contact Seidio tomorrow and see what they will do. My temporary solution has been to keep a folded piece of paper over the plastic that is sticking up to prevent further damage.

I read your post and IMMEDIATELY took off my case. However, I didnt see any sign of scratches or damages whatsoever. Though the feeling of my naked droid did send chills up my spin so I replaced the case.

@superdesi do you have a small square on the top right inside of your case right above the camera opening? I ran my finger across it on mine and it is definitely recessed. BTW I think I have one of the cases from the first batch.

No I dont have anything like that. I think i bought mine the third week of december so it most likely wasn't part of the first batch.

So here are pictures of the sapphire Droid case and the burgundy BB Curve case. They are both pretty dull looking until light hits them, in which case the colors look amazing and deep.

Be aware, that when any debris gets under the case (and it will) it will eventually scratch your phone. I experienced this with a Seidio case on my HTC Touch Pro. I removed the case (top and bottom) and had scratches on the screen outer edges, on the frame areas, and all over the back. You may want to remove the case periodically to clean underneath it. I left mine on for a couple of months before I removed it... and it was too late.
