Just received my replacement, These guys are TOP NOTCH!!! They sent me an ENTIRE new Case for free just because of the old hole design.

at this sort of price in China, i think im terribly sorry to tell you guys, you have been ripped off across the ocean. and for that many different sellers to carry that kind of quantity at that kind of low price.

sorry guys, i think seidio must have not manufactured it themselves, therefore no quality control could have been performed by them, just simply chose a cheap manufacturing plant and hope to make things work with excellent customer service, the profit margin should afford them the excellent customer services that you guys have liked so much.

Hey Fujitsu, Think if I ordered this Case from some Chinese Shop and I was unhappy with it, they would have sent me an Entire new case for free, no questions asked? NO they wouldnt.

That is the difference here, sure its made in China like everything else cheaply made in this world, but this American Company founded in Texas has good customer service.

You get what you pay for.

thats weird ppl have been having this problem....possible Seidio had a bad batch ?
i got mine a few weeks ago and it went on fine. although i hear a little squeaking if i push on the part of the case that is below the speaker. it's a really small squeak...and i hope that it's not as a result of dropping the phone and warping it....because i did drop it once (luckily it fell only 2 feet onto a hardwood floor).....

Other than that I think it's a great case. I also have the ultimate screen guard. I had to return my first phone because it kept rebooting itself. On that one I had the Zagg InvisibleShield. The Zagg one was more "grippy" than I liked, I couldn't slide my finger along the screen as easy and had the orange peel look. The Seidio screenguard is much smoother but shows fingerprints much more than the Zagg.

What is the purpose of the new small hole in the top of the case? I just noticed mine does not have that.

interesting.....mine does have it. it's a little rectangular opening near the opening for the power button & phones jack....

i'd like to know as well
 
Well I got my case today and im not sure if I have one of the correctly fitting cases. Most people stated their cases seemed small and would pop off. Mine doesn't pop off like it would if it were too small, but it does come off very easily if I apply any upward pressure on the bottom. Referring to just the front part of the case, the top two clips seem to protrude a lot more than the bottom two clips. That being said, it really feels and looks like the top two "click" on but the bottom just kind of fits on. I wouldnt mind hearing feedback from others that just received their cases.

This issue aside, I really like the look and feel of the case. If this issue drives me nuts (which it most likely will since I am kinda anal) I will definetly be sticking with the Seidio and exchanging it for a replacement. I have yet to see a case that appeals to me more than this one.
 
I am returning my gold one with the dremel hole on the back plate. I was told last week that I would receive a new one this week. Waiting all week until today decided to call and see where the case was and found out that they don't have any in stock. I do not like being lied to so I am sending it back for a full refund. After all this time I am just going to go naked.:mad:

I agree with your concept partly, I have shopped at TaoBao, and I think you're just being racist by automatically assuming some Chinese seller will scam you right there and then if you received a defected item.

But then again, at the same price, you can purchase 5 different cases from different sellers, and hope for the best much the same way as you shop with Seidio.

Please do not support their lack of Quality Control issue with praises about their customer service excellence.

That was posted as a general idea on how much in RMB it costs in China, and it's Seidio cases, who are honestly not doing a good job at keeping everyone happy by keeping their prices consistant.

I have shopped with US retailers and chinese retailers, and many other countires, and trust me, even US guys will rip you off no questions asked. it all depends on the person.

Please leave race out of it.
 
I really liked my Seidio case but the top part popping off constantly finally got annoying and I ended up tossing it in the trash.

Oh well guess I can try out some other brands now.

Had a similar problem too. Not as soon as I let go, but after a few uses of sliding the phone open it will eventually pop off on its own. Make sure your top piece is on the correct way, I had mine with the mic hole at the top, soon as I flipped it it seems like it hasn't popped off yet. I've only figured this out in the last hour so if it keeps doing it, I'll be contacting seidio. But so far, so good. :)
 
How much size does it really add? I see that it's 1mm each side but is it noticeable?

Also, subscribing to see if the top part is fixed.
 
I don't use cell phone holders/cases/clips. Outside of a work environment they look tacky and unfashionable.

Of course I don't want to waste 30 bucks for a case that pops off.
