Seidio Case

I love my Innocase on my Droid.

No complaints at all.

I hear all these complaints about it scratching but who cares? If the case it getting scratched and not your phone, then it's doing it's job. Isn't that the purpose of a case? To take the damage instead of your phone?

If people are so worried about their Protective case getting scratched, what's the purpose of even taking this phone off the charger?

I agree the cases look nice but i have a concern about them.....

1. Does the color start chipping away?

I just think $30 is alot of money to spend on a case for a phone

I don't think they're made of painted plastic. The plastic itself is colored. So there isn't any chipping. I've had mine, (In burgundy), for a few weeks now, and it's been in and out of my purse, and I've scratched it with my finger nail a few times, still looks brand new. :)

I will say, that it's a PITA to take off. So I don't. It's a really tight fit, which is great! But I'm worried I'm going to rip my phone in half when I try to remove the top piece. lol

Ok cool then i might have to pick one of these up eventually.

LOL yea, it's about a 3+ minute deal trying to get the thing off your Droid.

I'd rather have a case that's hard to get off rather than one that one stay on, though.

I was talking on the phone last night and the front piece of my Innocase fell off. One of the tabs somehow broke and now it won't stay on at all. Lasted me all of 2 months. I'm talking with support right now to see what they can do.

Years ago there was a skit on SNL that was a commercial for a motorcycle helmet. It was so nice they offered a helmet protector made of foam rubber, a helmet protector protector, a helmet protector protector protector and so on. The guy ended up with a helmet that must have been 6 feet wide.

Edit: Support is filling out an RMA for me now.

it takes the whole if 20 sec. to take the innocase off this phone and it shouldnt damage any part of ur fone doing it ....
Yeah I don't fight to get mine off either. Its snug when its on, but if you just grab the right parts, it comes off in under a minute for me.

LOL, that sounds hilarious.

Like I said, I know you don't like seeing anything on your phone getting dinged but if you're complaining about a CASE getting scratched, then you mines well e-mail Seidio and tell them to make a Innocase case.

:icon_eek: I have an idea for a new product. Seidio Innocase Invisible Shield! lol. Scratches weren't what i was worried about. I was worried about the paint chipping off of the case but someone said it is actually colored plastic and not painted plastic.

Just a warning: The sapphire blue Seidio case is a lot darker than it looks online. Mine looked almost black when I got it. When I contacted them to say their pictures were a little misleading and I wanted to exchange....well they only do returns. I know I am going to be buying a different color from them, it's just frustrating I have to wait for the refund (however long that takes) then place yet another order and wait for THAT one to be shipped. Argh.

Unfortunately I am positive it was blue. Was on packaging, and when I had it out in the sunlight it was blue. But when I was inside, and this is coupled with black phone obviously, it just looked black. I'm glad yours came out nice though:)
