[ROM] [SELFKANG ICS AOSP ROM] "AOKP" (Android Open KANG Project) [NIGHTLIES]

Gah.

Ok, Bud.

No worries. Thanks again for all you do.

Yes. It's been fixed.

And @BigD: I believe 3/21 is a nice stable build found here: http://rombot.droidhive.com/ROMs/solana/aokp/DROID3-AOKP-03-21-SELFKANG.zip

I'll get the bluetooth issue fixed here in a day or so, but you'll want a cool running / lower battery usage phone than what you have right now. I recommend reflashing :/
I *have* noticed some minor heat/battery issues on 3/31 but I'm generally getting about 50% left at end of day. For the backlit keyboard + virtual keyboard and other nice fixes/additions I'm happy to stick with it until the next stable build.

sounds good!

other issue i have noticed is the phone wont vibrate on vibrate only mode. changed settings around and cant figure it out

also cant seem to get the LED to change colors. gone from red, to green, to blue and it all looks purple

That's an issue that hasn't been worked out yet since 3/22 nightly but will be soon for now the only stable working build as far as the stuff you mentioned is the 3/21 nightly. By the way Hashcode got back to be on the 5.7.906 update he said it could be why people are having phone call issues and data issues, I told him I was on the 5.7.906 update and wasn't having those issues so maybe it would be the problem solver for everyone.:)

I contacted Motorola on the ICS update for Droid 3 and was sadly dissapointed when the tech told me there may not be an ICS for Droid 3 because of only 512 mb ram and ICS would be very hard to cram on that small of ram without problems :(

It's stupid how they shoved ICS on a single core device with 512MB of ram, which is Nexus S.

Hey, guys. Just flashed back to 3/21 as per Hash's recommendation.

Any way to get the qwerty backlight going?

Was it a backup that you recovered from?
The back light was working for me when I was on that version. Don't know what could have happened. Do a full wipe and re-flash that might solve the issue :)

yea i will just wait till the OTA or someone comes up with an SBF

B

Can't blame you one bit. I decided to update to see if it would solve some issues and it did but its advisable to wait til OTA push then there will be an SBF created :)
