[ROM] [SELFKANG ICS AOSP ROM] CM9/ICS for Droid 4 -- [BETA 03/05/2012]

Same here. I tried everything and no data connection with CM9 on my D4. Oh well, back to stock. Maybe when it reaches Beta it will be useable. I will wait anxiously.

Edit... So i tried to use the speak to search and it keeps saying Audio Problem. And i get no audio through calls.

Yea u need to turn off bluetooth and only turn it on when you are going to use it. When bluetooth is on, all sound is redirected to it, even if there is no bluetooth device connected.

Thanks so much, that fixed the calling problem at least. That is quite annoying though, having to toggle bluetooth every time get in and out of the car. But at least it is something. I bet all of these little issues will be fixed if a beta is released next year.

Youtube is working fine for me, no signal drop, the only problem I still have is the video function on my camera(pictures look like poop too)

I have been hard at work with DHacker getting the new Moto ICS leaks ready for AOSP goodness. Based on how good its running we felt that for RAZR and Droid 4, our time would be better spent on what's around the corner.

Right now the build is mostly working for the RAZR and we are loading up the Droid 4 files to see how they run in the next few days.
Any updates on this?

You guys think it will be any different than the leaked one we have been running? Or maybe just the bugs will be fixed so we will have data connectivity?

Absolutely it will. This is compiled from CyanogenMod source which is a significant fork off of AOSP source. The features of CM9 (ICS) but now running on a proper ICS kernel instead of hacked on top of a Gingerbread kernel like the current Hashcode CM9/ICS ROM.

Again...this "version" will only be for people who are running the leak ICS....the current version (and nightlies) in this thread or for those still running the stock Droid 4 ROM. Stock GB w/safestrap users will not see the benefits...only Leaked ICS w/safestrap will.

Just flashed the latest version. Things seem to be normal except that the home key just straight up doesn't do anything. Am I the only one experiencing this problem?

just flashed the 06/09/12 version and the screen was super dark. i had to keep hitting keys on the keyboard to be able to light the screen back up to be able to click on things. does anyone know how to do a battery pull/reset on this phone seeing as how we can actually remove the battery when we want to turn it off?

You can't pull the battery on the d4, hold the volume down and the power button for about 5 seconds. That will hard reset so you can get back to safe strap to fix things. Had the same issue.
