[ROM] [SELFKANG ICS AOSP ROM] CM9/ICS for Droid 4 -- [BETA 03/05/2012]

Youtube plays in "HQ", not "HD", that's the only thing I've found. And recording videos nor panoramic pictures, or the face to unlock work. Other than that I've been golden!

Do you happen to know if flash player works/playing videos online work? And just to be clear, panoramic pictures, recording videos, and face lock don't work? Thanks.

Anyone else notice the proximity sensor pulsing on and off? Its a super dim red led light near the camera. I can see it with my naked eye at night. Could it be affecting my battery life?

Flash player works for ebaums world at least (that's what I used to test), and right. Those do not work. Sadly. Haha. But now data has still been strong, even going from 3G to 4G and vice versa. Haven't had to reset any settings or wipe any cache. I love it so far!

I honestly have no idea what you're talking about. I stared at the spot and didn't see any light.

Hey guys. Does anyone know if there are developments to this that were used from the leak?

It seems like that leak will provide a lot of answers to some nagging questions (as verified by Hash himself) and I was just wondering if those positive developments have been brought to the current build.

I'm terrified to try the leak, not wanting to screw myself longterm so I am hopeful that the leak will get AOKP close enough to sastisfy ICS cravings.

Thanks fells.

Hashtag (the author) is working on a build based off the ICS leak.

They're currently running through the process of making the build, so with a little patience we'll have a fully working AOSP ROM that has all the problems solved based on the leak, but for now....regretfully we don't.

FYI, I'm on the leak, and it's fine, and I'm not too concerned about the whole getting back to stock or flashing a new update thing....I typically only use custom ROM's anyway, and once Hash is finished, I'll be running that, which should work off the leaked ROM.

I am very excited for hash's work. I love the ROM, but I miss Netflix and Youtube sorely from before. Not enough to go back to stock.. but I have my old droid 2 global laying around that is on wifi with youtube/netflix duty until this rom is updated with fixes from the leak.

I updated to nightly 5-24, and for what ever reason my phone no longer has sound... it will only vibrate, and i've checked every setting. Google Music will not even play songs. I just updated to 5-25 and same problem persists. Does anyone have any info on why this may be happening, or if there is a fix? Thanks!

Ditto...I had the same problem. Reverted back to 05/23 and it works now, so I guess those builds might have something broken. I can't see anything specific in the change logs that would have caused this but I suspect something new didn't play well with something else. I guess we'll have to wait on a fix...

Okay, well its not just me then. Thanks! I'll have to revert back!

Ditto the sound issues here, however it WILL play a tone when setting the volume, so sound it's not COMPLETELY broken, but most are. Something to do with the notification/media/ringtone channel

Edit:
Now I'm not so sure about the media channel...Games make noise and I think Music plays ok, so maybe videos play through a different audio channel?

Phone sound issues are fixed in the 5/29 nightly build. Sorry about that guys. We had a bad source merge while working on features for the new RAZR/D4 builds based off the leaks.

Have the leaks been used to develop these most recent nightlies? I've been assuming that there would be a big announcement that the new leak-based AOSP rom is introduced.

Are these recent leaks just that?

No leak-based D4 builds yet. I'm having issues setting up a new w/ Safestrap. Seems like the phone's front capacitive keys are mapped as part of the touchscreen and not virtual keys anymore. So redoing some code.

And the build has to be worked out a bit as well.
