Been with Verizon almost 6 years, so unlimited data on two phones. I have a 4 GB (pay for 2) on a lightly used Bionic, but have a 22% discount.

I've been with VZW for 6 years and have 5 lines all with smartphones and unlimited data. Each lines costs 10 bucks a month for unlmtd data after the 20 credit per line for family talk and text. I won't be changing my plan anytime soon!

WHAT??? I have 5 lines on family talk and text, 4 smartphones, 3 are unlimited for 30/month, with one new iphone for Dtr's Christmas but that is 2GB limited, also 30/month. What is the 20 credit per month? I have never heard of that? I called to try to get the new iphone plan changed to unlimited data with mobile hot spot but the CSR stated this was for not possible. Tried 3 different times so far.

I am hoping VZW will come out with a family shared data plan that is unlimited but I think I am dreaming: there is no way they will ever do that. Likely 10 GB/month for 5 lines shared.(one more smart phone to be added this summer). Sprint has unlimited family shared data I believe.

I, too, was grandfathered in with unlimited 4G. Yay! Thought for sure I'd have to downgrade to a tiered plan but nope!

I got one better, my company dropped Verizon as a company carrier over a year ago, and I still get the discount.....

Every so often VZW updates their database and scans the subscriber list. One day you will find that it was removed.

My wife gets the discount from working for get company. Thing is she left that job more than 5 years ago and we still get the discount.

I was referring to the fact that someone mentioned their company no longer has a VZW discount for their employees, which is different from what you're talking about. That former company still has a discount with VZW, however if your wife left the company that offers the discount, if VZW finds out, it is possible they could ask for the discounted money you've been saving over the past 5 years back.
