What kernel is everyone running here, if not the stock. anyone been able to get wifi tether to work?

BTW, besides this being the best rom here so far. I would like to thank all of you for responding to our questions. That is a problem with some other roms, no one ever responds to questions. Thanks so much for doing so.

was going to do some tethering tests tonight, dealing with up to 18" snow right now though, am running slahyer 1100 kernel.

I had a Market issue and was fixed this way.
Download the new apk as zip and placed on the SD Root.

Uninstall the stock market with Titanium. Reboot into recovery and flash the zip from the SD. Running the new 2.2.7 market in black no issues what so ever. Using this rom for 3 days now and exptremly smooth.

I tried your instructions exactly, with no luck, now the NEW market comes up then immediately FC's. This is really frustrating

Now, I dl'd the LiveWire theme. I like the lockscreen background. How can I use that lightning bolt/bottom lit image as my regular background?

I've always understood them to say if ever you start having FC problems with the new market that you should flash back to working backup and install from there. However if its never worked for you on this ROM then I'd suggest wiping and reflashing the ROM til it works.

Maybe try a "fix permissions" I think that is found in rom manager?

morning all

Sorry was up late. working on some stuff.
read through the posts and want to adress some things.;
1) reboots with car dock and or opening keyboard.
There have been i think 3 reports of this and myself is able to reproduce
this with opening the keyboard with the screen off. i did extensive reseach
as well as worked on this last night for 6 hours. i can only reproduce this my really
abusing how i open my phone's keyboard 4 others have not been able to reproduce this
i installed 4 other roms and was able to reproduce on 1 of them also. Only reference
I could find really was an old post from march on df actually with same symtoms.
Talking with some people it may be caused by the lock screen setup. I have not been able to reproduce to reproduce the dock errors.

We appoligize for this and it just wasnt seen in testing. what i am doing is i have redownload source and am building the rom back up from scratch. To atttempt to fix this.

2)wifi tether i have tested this and i have it working on both stock kernel. and slayhers

3) market-I have seen or been messaged by a couple people regarding market problems.
the market in the rom is the basic (not new) market and has not been a problem for any test run or for most that have installed the rom. I know for me anyway if i attempt to turn on wifi before initital market sync i have problems with the first market resync. this has been on most roms i have run. We have to experiomental markets on the website becasue they would force close occcasional and i would not release without a market that was fully 100% functional it was tested over 100 times without 1 fail. the new market seems to work as well as the experimental s if installed after the base market is installed but not if installed with install of the rom. It does look like people are wiping so i really do not know why the market is causing problems fro a few people .
4)not installing apk's-not reproducible by any testers or myself never seen during entire production. I( would suggest redownloading both the rom and gapps plus package adn try again. Also try fix permission's in the magic commands section of the magic settings.

5) a droid is a droid right--- well unfortunately this doesnt seem to be the case. If you are having some hiccups try what ever kernel you were using on previous roms.
I am sure this rom will just not run well for a few, as cm does not run well on my phone. i dont think anyone has figured out why this is but its not a new phenomenon

We worked very hard to insure this was perfect when we released. As we all know this is impossible. but of courcse we cant be here 24 hours a aday but i promise i will monitor and work on every issue reported .

Please see new thread regarding new build. we are here to make Sourcery what you want.

Hi guys,

Quick question. I uninstalled ADW and use Launcher Pro for home screen. I decided to give ADW a more indepth look so I went to dl it from market. Upon install it says Error Package File Not Signed Correctly.

Is this caused by me uninstalling it in Sourcery or a problem with ADWs file on the market?

it plain sucks LOL

tethered for about 15 minutes as quick test to droid, was no issues.

looking to tether droid to roku xds box, having some issues but it looks to be on roku end.
