oh cop and dredger

Oh cop having apps force close is not a common problem observed and never observed by myself or gflam or testers. as i hope you see in the above post we will not hid any issues or try to cover them up. If i had seen this or could reproduce it i would says so.

What you are describing i have seen in the past(on other roms since sourcery was around)
is restoring data from previous setups. other than that i just have no idea/ its just not been seen. let me know how it goes i will continue to talk to users to see if anyone else has this problem. We instured most everythings was latest version since they were themed. If you are trying to install apps that are already on the rom, than this could cause your problems. Keep me informed.

Dredger: I am thinking this is caused by uninstalling the adw that came with the rom(which had modifications) than trying to download a same version but not same themed.
you could try 1 of 2 things. come to irc and ill throw you a touch fix of our adw which should work. it seems android is kinda like windows ill uninstall what i feel like but not all.
or pull adw from the sourcery rom and try to install that and see if it works for you.

all feel free to attempt to install without wiping but we suggest you do and if you have problems please do so if you continue to have any problem come to irc # sourcery well do our best to fix it for you :)
I actually installed without wiping, before seeing this post, and everything worked 100% fine. I actually preferred this method, as I didn't have to redo my entire layout/settings.

Excellent ROM, with some rather nice features. I've given this ROM a try after using UD for some time, and I'll say it's going to be rather tough to choose between the two.

I'm looking forward to some more sophisticated themes, but also the addition of the rotary lockscreen.

Aside from this, some cleaning up of the transparent backgrounds on the notification drop-down would be nice, as it makes it difficult to read on some screen setups.

Lastly, and probably the biggest feature I miss from UD, is the power control widget integration into the drop down. Being able to access it from anywhere on the device, was very convenient.

Otherwise, I'm very impressed by this first release, and look forward to what's in store (especially the cloud potential).

I would be interested to see if the FC's are due to restoring (titanium) an app as well as previous system data.

For those having market issues, I'm using the black transparent market by easnead69 with no problems. Goes really well with the blue theme I have going.

Good to see you found the source of the reboots, hopefully you'll be able to fix it, I've had it reboot almost ten times now under seemingly normal use and although its annoying its the only major bug I've found. Only other thing is with the animations, first of all I haven't been able to change the animations in the livewire theme. It reset it back to stock. Also, I tried to switch to the 88 animations at one point and it applied the livewire theme instead of the animations. That would probably have something to do with the naming of the updates downloaded. I know I've switched through almost all the themes and animations as well.

well i havent found the reboot problems and they do not occur frequently for me but i did reproduce what you were telling me so its a start.. but i unfortunatley changed a couple things from a repo i should of know better than. also changed kernel at last minute and testing didnt show any problems. But i believe that is where the problems lie. I am working on rebuilding. at this time.

When were u trying to switch the animations cause that might have been my fault if it was earlier today. I have been moving all the links to a new place since the dropbox problem with bandwidth and I know I by accident I released it for around a few minutes then realized it and pulled it. I currently have all the stuff at an ftp and in the dropbox and have been testing the ftp today but only I am supposed to have that. It will be sent out through the update in our settings but that's probably ur reason for going to live wire so sorry aboud that. Please just reinstall the livewire theme and that should fix ur problem. If not send me a pm since u might be linked into the ftp which I'm still testing and I can get u fixed with one click. Again sorry about this.

Yea it was this morning that I flashed the theme, Im fine though the Livewire theme is my favorite anyways, the problem was with the animations as it applied the theme instead of the 88 animations. One last question cause I kind of feel like Im confusing myself right now but there are just so many options for themes and animations and fonts and everything, is it possible to install the animations on all themes or does it always switch it back to stock Sourcery theme. And if so, will installing Livewire again revert it back to stock animations? Hopefully what I just said makes sense haha

Is there a way to remove the clock from the notification bar?

Yes, but you have to use xUltimate to do it - at least as far as I know. Search out what you want on xeudoxus' section of these forums and you'll easily find instructions on how to do it if you've never used xUltimate before...Hope that helps.

Very nice effort. The only reason I switched is because recorded video was extremely choppy, freezing 3or 4 times in a thirty second vid up to 2 seconds per freeze.

So for starters this is by far the sexiest rom I've ever seen! Wicked props! Only issue I'm having is my long press on home screnes no longer works. I can't remove apps I have to delete the whole screeen and start over. And my alarm times are greyed out I can't see the times. But other than that flipping great. And I did wipe before install. I installed the rom.zip then the gapps.zip. but I'm still using it cuz I love it so much!

Yea no matter what theme u are on if u go to the animations options in themes u can select whatever animation u want and it will install it no matter the theme. Installing themes will revert u back to the stock animation however so if u switch ur theme u will need to go back to animations and install the one u want regardless of ur theme.
Hope that helps if it installs another theme pm me u are probably on the ftp which is still being tested by me but looks like it should be good.

Thanks for the compliments lots of hard work which seems to be paying off :) the long press on home screens sounds like a home app not the rom we have adw that installs by default but u can switch to whatever u want but what u described doesn't make much sense as to why u can't delete individual apps u should just need to long press and pull to the trashcan at the top of the screen.
The alarm thing is a know issue caused by the background theming we're looking at it but this has been known since release. We think it's a small trade off for the background theming for now but we are working to fix it.

The black time in alarm clock is a known issue posted in 1st thread. we know what causes and have put up a poll for the users to decide.

the other i have not had that problem or had it reported. but a supposed fix i used i think screwed up may things. i am testing a revised build at this moment reversing that fix to see if it fixes a couple other problems.
please frequent our irc or sign up for our twitter so we can keep you informed of special test version that will only be released fro these people to insure its stable for mass release.
thanks
oh and hi gflam you are alive

That doesn't make sense haven't recorded a video yet but I don't think that would be a rom issue but we will look at it regardless
