this is amazing we so glad you like what weve done. just think of this weekend as a second christmas. :)

ok i am going to bed now. :)

Alright - I'm still running stock Droid 1 - I've never rooted or installed a custom ROM.

This looks like I'll need to take the plunge - I still have a year on my contract before upgrade and I'm looking to change some things up :)

Is this pretty newb friendly? I have searched around the forums and it looks like there are different options for rooting, managers, etc.

Anyone have a link to the most recent route to get this done?

Thanks all!

Anyone know where the settings are located to tell/force the apps to install to a certain location ie. Internal/External/Auto?

I looked around and could not find it at all. So it is either not there or I am blind.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Still love the rom but a couple issues are bugging me.

Flash says it is installed but does not work, you can't uninstall it and reinstall.

Seems to get very slow after a while and you need to free up memory.

After a while it sometimes loses all bars, you restart and its fine.

Also, it keeps saying cpuboost granted su powers. Kind of annoying..

Hopefully will be fixed next release because I love this rom.

for the su issue how about opening su and stopping the notifications in settings?
no idea on bars as not happening here.
for memory I used titanium to move non-widget apps to sd card.

have not tested flash will do so in a bit.

It's not there. I thot it was but I didn't find it. There is an option to install to system but that's certainly not what ya want. However there are several free apps in market that do this job.

I haven't had a problem with it getting slow and needing to free mem. I can think of a couple of reasons you may be seeing that but it would have nothing to do with the ROM. As for flash they just realized last night that it didn't install right for some ppl so if you'll try to contact them in the IRC on their website I believe eagle1967 made up a fix for that. If not you can delete the file with root explorer, reboot then get flash from market. And the other fellow answered you about the su notification. Just turn it off in the su app.

Thanks for the information and proving I am not blind :-P At least I know I am not going blind in my old age.
Yeah I know there are apps out there and that is what I am going to end up doing with Titanium. However I usually try and set it so it automatically installs them to SD when I reflash a ROM. Then move the ones back I want on system.

But looks like I will have to wait for the update and auto populate of my apps to my phone and then force movie with Titanium and then continue till done.

Thanks

Awesome ROM, guys... My droid has never run smoother, battery life is great, and you made enabling/starting compcache easy!

2 questions...
1. I want to use the "wisp of smoke" background from the default theme as my wallpaper... where can I find the png file?
2. How do I change the background that underlies the transparent gmail app (or any of the transparent apps for that matter)?

Thanks,
-Freeze
