SP Recovery glitches

About 9 out of 10 times when I use SPrecovery, it gives me these errors:

E:Can't mount /dev/block/mmcblk0p1 (or /dev/block/mmcblk0) (No such file or directory)
E:Can't mount SDCARD:/update.zip
Installation aborted

1. I named the file correctly: update.zip; it is not update.zip.zip or any other variation. It is update.zip
2. When it gives me that error, I just keep rebooting into SPrecovery and after about 20 reboots or so, it will magically work. I don't change anything, I just keep rebooting.

Why is it doing this to me? WHY?! lol

I'm having the same issue...doesn't matter if it is ClockWork or SPrecovery...I've been searching all over this freakin' website, and still no solution found.
