I am hopping that somebody has an answer for this. After the install, following the directions, I tried to set-up my e-mail for exchange. I entered the e-mail address and password then clicked the manual button and entered in all the account information. I then got to the screen where it asks you to enter a name for the account, did that and then pressed done. It sat there for a few seconds and the when back to the initial screen to enter e-mail and password. No account gets set-up and I tried this 5 time to make sure I was entering the information correctly.

Any thoughts on this?

I've personally not set up an account manually but I haven't had an issue setting it up automatically. This is the same email app in the d1.

Sorry just ran it again, upped the resolution on my screen cap but still didn't post clearly... anyone know why?

Calendar

Have had this mod installed for a day now and really like it - good work.

Have one issue thus far - with the calendar. Former BB user so I need it :p

Had a widget on one of my home screens which displayed a few meetings at a time before installing this mod and I can't seem to get it back. When I go to add > widgets > calendar > done nothing happens.

I see you have google calendar installed:

blurhomeca=l installs blur calender and home
googlecal=installs google calender(in stock squidly0

Do I need to install the blur calendar? figured I'd ask. :icon_eek:

Being a basic user limits your size for images in both the pixel and kilobyte department. This is probably the root of your problem. I'm sure some other site will let you upload a better quality screen-capture.

It only happens when uploading to droid forums directly from my phone, if I email then upload from the computer there are no issues, u wouldn't think size or resolution would be an issue with such a simple picture... oh well

I personally don't use exchange but I did a bit of looking into it and it may be an issue of protocol. There are a few different protocols that software developers can choose to support within their software. POP, IMAP, SMTP (server side usually), and MAPI. MAPI is a proprietary protocol used by Microsoft Exchange. Long story short...perhaps your software does not support the protocol or you have chosen the wrong protocol for the account. Perhaps not?

You can also try bluremail -ins script and see if it works on the d2 email app.

ugh

Hey there, I'm super new to doing things like this... just got my phone rooted yesterday and tried installing this rom on it today. I followed the directions, got boot, put the zip on my card, mounted the system and data, had everything backed up... it didnt install like that. then i wiped the cache, still failed. Then I wiped the whole thing, still failed... what am I doing wrong? I cant remember exactly what it says cause I tried it this morning but it keeps aborting installation. Help anyone? I can take a photo of it if that would help. Thank you!

Did you try toggle signature verification. I got a botched install and that worked for me.
