If I oc from terminal and I set profiles on setcpu do I have to conitounsly oc eveerytime I reboot

Sent from my DROID2 using DroidForums App
int main()
{
Me too, what gives? Also, my Droid goes "ape****" when I oc over 1.4 (even a little then). It mainly has a problem when going to sleep and waking back up from what I can gather.

P.S. Ape****() = (Taking way too long to wake up, acting slower for some reason, not wanting to reboot, requiring me to pull the battery, being an overall pain in the ass)
}dancedroid
#otherwise...no problems with oc1.3
# ***also note that I am using 'CPU Tuner' and not
#'SetCpu'

Some cpus are stronger than other you have to gradually work your way up to your highest speed, if your load is too large your droid will do what you said also I talked to squidly and he said that after you shut off droid oc goes back to 1ghz as a fail save so you don't get caught ina bootloop you can disable the failsafe by going to the oc folder with ur fav file viewer

Droid 2
Squidlies Rom
ADW faded theme

unh... Screwed my D2

Installed Squid 2.3.20 on my D2. No Verizon access. Can't install recovery boot, can't get back to terminal.

Looking for SDK instructions next. Wah.

Take out ur battery.....turn the phone back on.....and hold the power key till it boots into recovery.
You have bootstrap installed too right?

Sometimes a simple battery pull will restore it but that isn't usual.

Recovered

Battery pull didn't help. I was able to install bootstrap recovery (again) from the quick docs browser.

My D2 is fairly new, so maybe there's a firmware update causing squidly problems.

System Version 2.4.5.A955.Version.en.US
Model: Droid 2
Android Version 2.2
Baseband version CP_C_01.09.05P

ERI 5
PRL 52105

Hope this helps.

R2D2 -- nope

It's not an R2D2 Phone. The ROM I'm using the VZW 2.4.5 Clean ROM from AngDroid.

Hardware-wise, it's just a D2. Cuz I DID READ your warning ;-)
