Nicely done. I'm @ 1.42ghz 1st run on quadrant = 2,800 and phone is still running nice and cool. Is it possible for me to manually push the cytown phone app myself via adb? Or would that cause any issues w/ the rom? Thanks.

Edit: Upon finding my previous remarks superfluous, I have decided to change them...Question though...Does anyone else have this problem: When I drag down my notification bar in portrait mode and attempt to check my gmail, the notification bar always switches into landscape mode and I have to navigate to the gmail notification again to open it up. And no...it is not the way I am holding the phone...It is a software error of some sort. :shocked:

lost my contacts, help!

ok, so i read the entire thread here before i even attempted to put this rom on my phone. im a complete newb, and it seems to have worked. i did the bootstrap backup and all that stuff, i even exported my contacts to the sd card before i did any of that. my problem is, now i lost all my phone numbers. only the contacts from facebook are showing. i cant for the life of me figure out where to retreive my contacts from, and backup assistant is no longer working. i have to go to work in a couple hours and i have important numbers in my phone that i need to use.

can someone please help me?

Go into my accounts and make sure youare signed in to google, if you are make sure in contacts it says all contacts inthe top left bar.

i am logged in to google, imstill getting emails and texts. i went to backup assistant's webpage even, found all my contacts in the trash, undeleted them, synced it up, it says it was successful, but again, there are only 7 entries in my phone book now. they all seem to be the ones ive added most recently, like in the last week or so

All your contacts should have saved to cloud (google) go to my accounts, google,uncheck all 3 sync,check them again and let it sync,if that doesn't work sign out of google, and sign back in. Do me a favor do a battery pull it might not have synced yet.

I think it depends on the origin of the contact -- I had a lot of contacts imported via Exchange that never sync'd with Google or Backup Assistant.

If all else fails, restore from a backup and figure out how to get all of your contacts into Google.

i figured it out, when i noticed that my text msgs still had names with it, i knew something was up, i was synced with google, and backup assistant told me that it successfully backed up 227 contacts. but only 7 were on my phone. then i just realized they must be on my sd card, so i found that option, moved them all back over, and now its all good.

also, i noticed that the wireless tether runs miles faster than it did before. wow! i havent even done anything except install the rom. i didnt go in and free up any of my stock programs that drive me nuts. i probably will do that, after i get paid so i can buy titanium backup or something. sucks when you have a $300 phone bill cause you havent gotten your mail in rebate yet

Put an any app on the root of your sd rename it to Music.apk and run the script.
