Stuck in ClockworkMod Recovery

If you are going to restore your nandroid backup you do not install zip from sdcard.
From clockwork recovery select nandroid/restore and then select the file you wish to restore.

If that fails, mine did in a similar situation, just download BlackDroids v8 update.zip and place on the root of the sdcard and then apply the update.zip, that will wipe system and everything and get you up again.

Sorry to Hijack but I'm stuck in clockwork recovery and cant mount to place any files on the sd card.

I'm not very familiar with clockworkmod at all and i think this is my issue.

I was in the exact same situation as you and just happened to have BlackDroids V8 update.zip still on my sdcard and figured what the hell and applied it and everything wiped and booted up V8 fine. then from there you can go where ever you would like.

ANd thats only one possible solution. I am sure there are many other ways you could bring her back

in clockwork recovery you will have
-reboot system now
-apply sdcard:update.zip
-wipe data/ factory reset
-wipe cache partition
-install zip from sdcard
-nandroid
-partition menu
- advanced

Partition menu gives you thes options:
mount/data
unmount/ cache
mount/ sdcard
format system'format data
format cache
format boot
mount USB storage

So I just went into the rom forum and download ultimate droid v8.1.1. After I mount my phone to my pc where should I put it and then what do I do?

Make sure you got the update.zip (not nandroid) and place on the root of the sdcard and then select the menu option apply sdcard:update.zip

I'm stuck on the Blackdroid boot screen now, seems to be a loop just like before. I started in safe mode and it still says clockworkmod recovery. I just placed Blackdroid on my sd card is there a specific folder that it needs to be placed in? You mentioned the root folder where is that exactly

I believe he said the root of your sd card (so it will not go in any folder)
