Stuck on boot screen. Please help

I recently installed epic unleashed 2.5 on my d2. it gets past the M screen but gets stuck on the epic booting screen with the spotlight deal that goes from left to right. I don't know what i did wrong i followed the instructions very carefully.... please help

I had the same exact thing happen to me and my custom recovery wasn't working so I couldn't restore my backup. What I did was flash the 2.3.20 sbf from the bootloader. Everything worked and my phone was fixed.

Same thing here. Mounted system and usr partitions in clockwork, installed unleashed 2.7, wipe swap, etc, and it hangs after the M during boot.

Is there a proven way to install?
* sbf fresh load <version>
* activate phone at first boot, don't log into google
* install z4root, root
* save unleashed to sd card
* install droid 2 bootstrapper
* boot clockwork
* do some stuff in clockwork
* use clockwork to install unleashed.zip
* reboot
* do some stuff...

Just an example, but is there a known good sequence to follow?

i have had this problem i have tried tons of times to install... i do have the info needed to recover your phone from boot loop.
