What internet service type are you on? Cable? DSL? Satellite?

I'm on a 10mb/s Bellsouth DSL network. Not leeching off a neighbor or anything, the router is ~10ft away from me. Not having any issues browsing the internet or anything like that.

How's the weather down there? DSL can be problematic in foul weather sometimes...

Also, are you having any problems with any other files you download? It could just be megaupload issue.

It snowed earlier today but it was like an inch. I've downloaded other minor files and they worked fine. I've tried multiple sources to download this SBF file though.

Try a major file since you seem to be having problems after the connection's been running for a while.

Download Battle for Wesnoth from SourceForge.net Open-source game, approximately the same filesize.

Yea, I'm getting like 33kb/s but it is steadily rising. It's at 17.2mb/268mb
The thing is, when I'm using torrents even if it doesn't have that many seeds I get atleast a consistent 100kb/s (Opensource stuff, not illegal, if you're wondering).

When that file's down try the SBF again. Never know, it might have kickstarted something. Of course, it's also quite likely that Megaupload is having issues today.
