Your backup is with sprecovery correct?

ROM manager has an option to flash SPRecovery at the very bottom of it. You can then reboot into SPRecovery and restore your backup.

when i go to the ROM Manager the only options that give me is
-"Flash clockworkmod recovery
(you must have the clockworkmod recovery installed to flash and restore ROM's)
-Reboot in to Recovery.

ROM manager once in it, all the way at the bottom (well technically second from the bottom) there should be an option saying "Flash alternate recovery". Press it.

If you don't see that, maybe it is only in the premium version, which I am using. If so, we can do this the manual way, it is rather easy.

http://downloads.droidmod.org/recovery-0.99.3b.img <-- download that and place it on the root of your sdcard.

Download Android Terminal Emulator v1.0.4 Application for Android | Tools <-- from the market if you don't have it already.

Type into the terminal you downloaded

Code:
su
flash_image recovery /sdcard/recovery-0.99.3b.img
reboot recovery
That will install SPRecovery and boot you into it. Once in there, go to advanced recovery restore, choose your backup and perform the restore.
