No sweat. Got. A couple projects going now. Small changes to kuro and a new theme arpitbull and I are collaborating on which is kuro counterpart. So far icons are looking great. We are considering a recovery flash theme. This should free up data space as these themes keep getting bigger. I will have some time this weekend to get a lot done.

Are you supposed to flash this over the stock MIUI theme to get the full effect? I flashed over ReVolution theme and got the circle battery but nothing else. No biggie I was just curious. My 3g icons are the same and havent checked the others yet.

I Flashed over Elite Pro HD and all of the icons show up fine for me, have you tried other themes?

It depends on whether or not the theme has battery png files...most do not.

Nah havent tried other themes. But on the REvolution theme I only got the circle battery everything else stayed with what the theme already had. Like I said no biggie was just curious. I guess it's theme specific. I really only wanted the circle battery anyways so all is good!

yeah pretty sure revolution has already altered the .png files for the icons so, i think they override the ones that come with this version of the battery.
some themes change the icons, some dont

one cool thing about this battery mod to the framework is that I could apply any of the circle battery mods via a theme.

NOT just limited to the ones that are in the framework.

With the original d1-miui framework (regular battery) I could include the battery animations and images for the circle mod, but...the framework only has 5 animations for battery charging. You can count them while your phone is plugged in.


They are green...and if you watch your battery animation while its charging, you will count five different "fill" positions. Each position is its own animation file...and the original framework doesnt see the other 100 files that the circle mod includes. Its not a matter of replacing the drawables either....an xml file tells the framework what source to look for those images. So putting them there does not work for the full circle battery mod. I tried this. I have no experience editing xml files, so I couldnt pull it off. Now that the mod is there...hopefully I can compare the two frameworks and make it work for future releases. (fingers crossed).
