Truculent Swype

Suddenly my Swype won't work. It simply will not take the words I swipe and misreads, even when I swipe with great care? I restored default settings. Any idea what happened?

Had a similar problem. Pulled the battery. Works like a charm.

Does anyone know how to disable the window that pops up if it can't find another word after you click the Swype button? It's really annoying me.

I don't like the "physical" keyboard, hard to use the screen keyboard..SWYPE - AWESOME!! I can create my messages fast and for the most part very accurately. Terrific app!

Swype is another reason why I will be abandoning my Droid and switching to the N1 when it is available on VZW.

After a couple weeks, Swype is a worthy addition to any virtual keyboard, especially if you struggle with the default virtual. I do not struggle so have actually disabled it, while keeping it installed. It still is no match for the physical keyboard so when I actually use the virtual, its mostly just for URL's or quick responses and just becomes more of a pain than a benefit.

I was thinking....I sure hope Swype works on 2.1.

Could this be the limited time the developer mentioned? That it won't work with 2.1?

I really love using swype and I've kept it installed for a while now but...it becomes a pain for url's and cursing and such...I haven't taken the time to add words to the dictionary yet but it is a wonderful app nonetheless...great for showing it off to friends and other people though!! They always watch in amazement when I show it to them...
