those are animations. turn them off if you dont like the 'lag'

Is it April fools day already? Lol, I'm sorry man, I see no lag. Turn off animations, get rid of widgets and try Nova Launcher or something. But even with all that, it'd probably be the same because it looks snappy the way you have it now.
