I got my email yesterday. I updated manually with the vzw update. Its unrooted and can't root.
If I redownload the app don't I have to sbf in order to use their gb update?

1) If you got the download from firefox mobile it is the latest version and will give options of yummy leaks gingerbread .596
2) the cable is designed to allow maintenance functions to be performed when connected that you wouldn't be able to do with your regular usb cable. If you don't understand that last statement the nyou don't need the $50 cable.
