Here's a pick of my mad recipe for 15 lbs of salmon in brine getting ready to be smoked!
Everything auto, including focus... 5 meg pic "photobucket knocks way down to 800res"
Well 12lbs went in about 5 days, after giving away a little here, and a little there..... hopefully this will last till Christmas.... oh but then there are presents!....humm!
The new update seems to help with low light conditions much better... will be nice to have for christmas!
Yep..... worked like a charm!.... everyone reports improvements in the camera.
Some don't feel it does wonderful in low light, but I think its better.. I was able to get a pic of the sunrise this morning and orange rays were shafting over the earths horizon before the sun came up!

I'm using CameraMagic app and not the stock camera. Well I tested the stock camera to confirm the faster camera shot. I didn't really play with the settings of the stock camera app.
A batch of test shots since getting the new software. First the three outdoor shots of the sun fading away. Mainly this was to see how the camera dealt with focusing on light and dark areas. Done in 2, 3 and 5 megapixel.
You will notice how the noise gets worse with each bump in resolution. Yes, some of this is expected but I still think the software isn't doing it's job.
Now three shots of the same type I originally did to compare the Storm camera to the Droid camera.
I am still inclined to believe that this could be better with software that was improved. Any less than bright area has lots of color noise introduced.
When you have the camera open click on Menu > Settings.... you will see the options on the left hand side. You can also 'drag' the menu bar from the left side of the screen while using the camera.
5MP Camera my butt! The camera on the Droid is worthless or I have no idea how to operate it. Every picture I take comes out blurry, pixelated, red eyes, super dark you name it. I had a Curve and the camera on that was 10 times better. I like the Droid, but they had no business including a worthless camera with it. I took it to a holiday party the other day hoping to get some decent pictures and they horrible.
I applied the update and it didn't fix my camera picture quality ..it still sucks. I could take better pictures with $10 digital camera ..it's horrible. I paid for a phone with a 5 MP camera and got one with .5 MP at best.
