Well still no luck with my phone...
Im going to redownload the sbf file, redownload rsd **BTW which version should I be using?** and I would like to know how would I go by getting to the current build which is 125 without getting a red M that doesn't move or let me go back into recovery. Which version of clockwork recovery works with these nightlies also? I am using the 2.0.5.8 or something similar to that should I update it before trying to put in the nightly.
OK, idk if we covered this yet but, if you are using the official builds from the CM site (build 125 tells me that you are) you need to be flashing over Froyo, not over the GB OTA. As far as RSD Lite, anything over 4.9 SHOULD work, but I found that 4.9 doesn't agree with Windows 7 all the time. Version 5.5 is in my signature, it should work. Your version of Clockwork recovery shouldn't matter. 2.5.x or 5.0.x should both work.
If you have a red M it means that you have GB installed, and the nightlies that you are using will not work on top of GB. If you are still on Froyo, you will have a white M, not red. If you want to flash over GB, get Revnumbers' builds from ROM Toolbox (NOT ROM Manager, ROM Toolbox. The free version is enough, but you can pay for it if you want) Don't install the builds from within ROM Toolbox, download it from there, then reboot into recovery and flash from there. The file will be in your SD Card /romtoolbox/downloads/revnumbers
Also, you can't always get back into Clockwork recovery, BUT you can always get into stock recovery. If you boot up while holding the 'x' key on the physical keyboard, it should take you to a screen with an android with a '!'. From there, if you have froyo installed press the search key on the hardware keyboard, or if you have GB installed press both volume buttons on the side simultaneously, to get into stock recovery. From there you can wipe data (which you will NEED to do after an sbf in order to get past the M screen.) You will also need to wipe data between stock (in either case, froyo builds or GB builds) and CM, but you can do that wipe in clockwork recovery before or after you flash CM (in the same recovery session as flashing.)
I hope this helps!
