[ROM] The CM7 Gingerbread ROM (CM4D2-GB) is now ready for prime time!

It worked for me! But they did leave a message..but they kept telling me, no, we never do that, until a manager said I wouldn't have known of this if it weren't for the message because not even the staff knows of this but its a secret kind of upgrade they use but I don't know why, they leave a message on your voicemail!

Heck yeah man, hopefully we'll have some CM9 soon! Cyanogen tweeted last night that it should be about 2 months before CM9, but Android Police said that the 2 months is for a stable release, and that nightlies should start within a few weeks.

JBird was talking about it over at Rootz, he said that he and Rev have already started some work on it. I told JBird to talk to Ace, who's the dev that has been working on MIUI ICS, and see if he can offer up any help with getting it to boot on the D2.

I'm so excited, our D2s are actually keeping up with the times still, it's awesome!

I'm not. I've been on it for a while now. It's settled in nicely.

As for cm9, WOOOOOOOOT!

Haven't tried yet. I re-flashed it to Boot Manager yesterday, but haven't booted it up yet. Probably will tonight. I was out of town all day yesterday, so I didn't want to be without my phone if something went wrong. (I know there's the update.zip for emergencies, but I'd rather not take any chances when I'm away from home)
