The Complete Jellybean Thread

Until the jb sbf files drop I would not recommend making any serious changes to the stock system. Install safestrap, backup your stock, restore it to a romslot or just flash an ota based rom and then start tweaking away

my man GigaJake, good lookin' out.
and Krooked isnt lyin'... dope thread. Thanks to all involved.

Hey thanks man. I'm not the greatest guy to grace the D4 but I try to keep everyone afloat. Give the OP a like if you haven't already, that's really all I can accomplish. I'll try to keep my eyes on the thread when I can.

I do have the autocorrect issue as well and rebooting seems to fix that. For me, the having to hold down shift like a PC happens at the same time as when the autocorrect disappears. But if no one else is getting < when hitting shift+, then I probably need to reinstall.

I have that issue on my main D4.

Phone calls used to be routed to my car speakers when plugged into the AUX in the ICS version. I can't seem to get it to do that in the JB version.

Is anyone else having weird issues with the physical keyboard? Mine seems to rotate between needing me to hold the shift key down like a pc to do the shift commands and working normally.

I had this exact problem too. I did a data wipe/factory reset after upgrading to JB. A reboot fixed the issue. I haven't had it come up anymore.

When you are using the keyboard, make sure you see the little symbol in the status bar. Auto correct won't work if it isn't there. You will have to tap the field where you are typing for the symbol to show up and then auto correct will work. I don't know why it happens.

No problem! FYI, if there are any other files that you would like mirrored, let me know. (I am Omni Impact, who provides Myfishbear's file hosting.)

Thanks. I'll hit you up if I need to in the future. Although, I'm not much of a dev. I can't really offer much outside of advice.

fishbear help

Search for the thread where it discusses how to charge the phone when it's dead.

Once that's done if I were you I would redownload the sbf file, make sure all drivers are up to date, make sure youre using the factory usb cable, and try using other usb ports on your computer. Sometimes changing the cable and usb ports does the trick.

I need a signed moto flashable zip of system or a signed moto flashable zip of bin/logwrapper.
Can anyone do that?
If so you would save me 600 dollars cause I got warranty but there is a ding on the bottom of my phone aand they might charge me and say i
Dropped it.thanks

For me the factory wipes helped until I rebooted a few times. Ended up installing again fresh from Kwyrt's link and it seems to be working well now. Before getting it fixed, tapping the field would cause it to pop up, but it would just sit on the default options with the ! ? etc. Thanks for the reply though helped me work out it was more of a me issue than anything else.

Hi all! I finally decided to update: it downloads the update, it reboots, it seems to flash, then boots ICS and it says me "The software update failed!".
I tried several times... Anybody had the same issue?
