Crazy morning.. Remnants of the hurricane Fred flooded all the small roads. I couldn't miss my grandsons hockey camp so I drove on in to the rink. Certainly helps to have my snow tires on to prevent hydroplaning like everyone else!

Wow, sorry to hear that, but glad you got to see your grandson in action. I am, however, sitting in amazement after reading the part about snow tires in August. [smile]

I remember having to put snow tires on my car back in the 70's (the last time I ever drove in the snow), but I guess I always thought they had become obsolete when all-weather radial tires came out.
