The Gun Club

I also have an SKS w/ bayonette, and an old .410/.22 over/under that was my great grandpas. I haven't shot either in 10+ years.

The next firearm I buy will be either a .38 revolver for my wife (I like those airweights), a home defense shotgun, or a rifle for target shooting.

Is that a Stevens Model .22-.410 with a plastic stock?
I have one, it's one of my favorite guns.

I got my airweight after "my old lady" got hers.
Only difference is she ordered different grips from Smith & Wesson......

To be honest with you, I have no idea what model the 410/22 is. Like I mentioned I haven't shot it in a long time (probably over 20 years for that gun). I inherited it when I was probably 10 years old and have only fired it a handful of times. I keep it stored at my dads place, so I can't go look right now or I would.

Too many to list or take out of the safe. The Berretta is my everyday, stay in the vehicle gun. I have more but I'll have to pry those out of the fingers of the sheriffs office in FLA.

I'm getting my first 'piece' soon. I'm wanting a Walther P99ASC. Anyone have any thoughts on that gun? I'm 5'4" and around 195 pounds (not fat). I mainly wear cargo pants in this Florida heat, so it's easily concealable within those. That's why I chose it plus I love the action on it.

Pretty much everyone I know has a few guns. I don't at this time however. A friend of mine has 2 beautiful M1 Garands, as well as a couple of handguns. Since I am a WWII historian as a hobby, I am interested in acquiring, once I get back to work (or win the lottery, which ever comes first) some WWII weapons, if at all possible.

I am not much of a fan of handguns, I like rifles (not good for home defense, but fun on the range) but, if I did acquire a hand gun or two, not sure what they would be.

The pictures of everyone's arsenals are great, makes me wish I could afford to indulge.

Take a look at the Beretta 3032 Tomcat...

That looks like something I might carry on the ankle, but not so hot on it. Thanks for the suggestion though. I may look to see if I can find a shop locally that has it so that I can at least try it out.

I don't have any pix but I have a Glock 27 .40 caliber. Nice gun that I can pretty much just throw in my pocket and forget about it.

Hey guys, so I'm looking to buy my first handgun, I already have a .22 rifle and a Mossberg 500 12 gauge shotgun that were left to me by my grandfather, but those are rather big and unwieldy for home defense. I am engaged and living with my fiance in a new house that we recently purchased in October and are most of the way done with remodeling. So I'm looking for a handgun for home defense that I can put into a small gun safe (taking ideas on which safe to buy as well). What relatively inexpensive gun would you guys recommend? I won't be taking it to the range very often other than to keep me used to using it, but what reliable, inexpensive, revolver or pistol would you guys recommend? Lots of posts here so I figured it would be a good place to start!
