I understand perfectly what you saying.
Well the term bloatware/crapware gets paraded around as if it's a standard. What what you may consider crapware, I don't and vice versa. I once read an American guy say that the NFL Mobile app was bloatware and I blew up at him ( how the hell can you be American and not like football???) ...

I love football. But I think the point everyone and myself are trying to make with the bloatware/crapware is that if I/we want the app(s) on my/our phones, we can install it ourselves from the Market. Or, they should give us the option to delete the app(s) from our phones. Thereby letting everyone have their own tastes and preferences and run their phone how it behooves them.
Instead, they try to lock them into the ROM and basically force the apps down our throats. Thereby forcing us to hack our phones that we bought to remove the stuff we don't want/use/need so our phones are to our individual liking. (For instance, I have no use for the Social apps. I don't want them. I don't use them. If I change my mind, I can install them. Others love the Social apps and want to keep them. But for me, it's a waste of space and resources.
I love football, but would rather not have the app on my phone as I don't use it. You want it on your phone. Baseball, on the other hand, I love more than football, and I have MLB At Bat app on my phone during the season. And I have an app to see all the scores of all the sports. So, for me particularly, I don't want/need the NFL app. It's a waste of space and resources on my phone that could be used for things more productive to my particular needs and preference.
Yours will differ from mine. Therefore we are all wanting to truely make our phones OURS. My phone should be MINE. Your phone should be YOURS. No offense, but I don't want your phone. And you probably don't want mine. You'll look at mine and go, "Really?!!? What the hell?" Lol. I would probably do the same with your phone.
