I take it all this battery life talk is with 4G right? If so, how does this compare to the Droid Razr and Droid 3?
I know it was briefly mentioned, but if the screen seems brighter more vivid vs the D3, how does it compare to the Droid Razr and even previous Droid models like the D1 and D2? Thanks.

Would you mind asking your source a few more questions?
1. Could we get a photo with the back cover removed?
2. Is the back cover metal or plastic?
3. Initial specs listed this as GSM capable...is there space for both the LTE and GSM SIM cards?

Of course!! I think pics of the back with the battery cover off are in the works... I haven't talked to them since that last e-mail with the other pics.
Oh, and they did mention that, in their personal opinion, "they don't think people should be attached to that 12/22 release date. they just don't see it happening."
There was no further context on if it was because the device was buggy or communications they had received or what, but I will see if I can find out more info!

Oh! I forgot something I read today, it was buried in a different e-mail:
They have pics with the back off, just had to get it into photo shop to clean up device ID and other identifiable things under the cover.

How is the battery life vs the Droid 3? Can you tell us how the screen is vs the Razr and Droid1/2
The resolution is poor, so I had trouble reading it, but it looks like that box at the top of the screen says something like:
'For a hard reset press and hold power button for up to 12 billion CPU cycles.'
Did anyone else read it that way?

Btw, given the awkward contortions being used to avoid singular personal pronouns, I presume that your 'source' is female. Please ask her if she has, as a tester, found the D4 to be 'buggy'?

from a business perspective I'd say they won't release something better then the razor until the 10th of January then .............. bums me out but would make good sense for them to sell as many phones as possible for xmas then wait til the return policy expires and release the next technology
