This article does not sound right as many stores already have GNex's in stock and on display, granted most displays are dummy phones and the real ones are still hidden but the space for them exists. That article is an internal email for between Verizon Corporate (or crapcorate) and i don't think has any update for us about the Nexus.
If Verizon is planning to miss the 15th as well they will be taking the sting out of this phone all together.

There has been a lot of question about grandfathering unlimeted 3g/4g upon an upgrade. a friend of mine is a manager at a corporate VZ store. I asked if i upgrade from my d1 to a nexus would i keep my unlimited data, he said yes.


and yes he will text me when VZ get official word of nexus release

If they don't launch this thing by the end of the year, I'm going to go into their store and demand they honor the full $50 value of my Living Social voucher whenever the Nexus comes out, as they announced that the device would be released "before the end of the year".

I may try this as well.

I highly doubt I'll be a launch customer though...And I'm gonna do everything I can to make the rep grovel at my feet to earn the sale. It might not be the reps fault, but if enough of them get the short end of the stick because vzw doesn't give them any info to pacify current or potential customers, they might make enough noise themselves about being in the loop. I hightly doubt this will ever happen, but like the saying goes, the squeaky wheel gets the grease. We need to turn up the volume and pitch of the squeaking. lol

Gahhhh. I wish someone could just call me when it releases. The only rep who actually agreed to call me when she got any word sounded very reluctant to do so, so I have no faith. The more I check the forums, the slower the time passes.

Stop checking the forums then. That's what I'm doing, or not doing...whichever the case may be.
