I'm tempted to make a Galaxy Nexus signature myself. I made one a while back when I was an iPhone fan boy.. so, similar style.

Haha, not like the ones now! Just liked it a lot. It was after the iPhone's been out for about 2yrs and I thought it was so amazing.

Well i like the nexus becuas im like roms and mods but i cant text without looking on a touchscreen. I text a lot. cant text in class with nexus or anything. Haha i think i might want a keyboard just for school and a nexus for my free time. if all i would have to do is switch sim cards then that would be a breeze.

I'm still using my OG, so I can't verify this.

As I've read it, the problem is once the 4g phone tries to either transition down to 3g or up to 4g it loses data completely and you have to either hit airplane mode, or power cycle.

Apparently this doesn't always happen, but it does happen. I've read it happens with the Charge, Bionic, Rezound and Razr. Some people don't seem to have the problem at all, others have it occur every day.

I have read some people who got the Bionic update recently have seen an improvement in their data loss, but this was maybe 2-3 people so definitely not enough to verify the problem is software related.

My guess is the 4G towers are still causing some issues between data transitions.

Thanks for explaining...I really hope this can be worked out in software or something though it looks like it might not be able to be fixed if it is the radios. It is so annoying when you need to check something really quick and you open up the app only to be met with a "No Data Connection" screen.

Its college, not when the professor is teaching but when they get off on their 20min rants.... i text. My math prof always talks about trips to mexico for fishing. My philosophy prof usually talks about her college football son. lol, i admit that i zone out on those topics and text the ladies :wink:. :rofl2: ok maybe not always the ladies but even good star wars obsessed buds are better at passing time then fishing.

That's so much money tied up into cell phones. What about a small blue tooth keyboard you could sync to your phone

It wont happen though i i get a nexus in the next 3 days. if it comes out then id prolly not care til school starts back again then id revisit my thought. my mind is just working weirdly since my D1 is quiting on my and im losing the keyboard and going to a virtual keyboard.... :blink: Saddens me.

Nah I've never used one of the mini keyboard things. I can relate to the D1 quitting on ya and losing the keyboard though... I figure i'll just have to get used to it. Doesn't matter since the nexus is never coming out

I'm pist a little now, went to wal mart, the have the incredible 2 for $48 (for my daughter), vzw says I can only early upgrade (10 days) on a phone I buy from them, they have the Inc 2 for $150.

The stores have them. It won't be long. They're not going to sit on inventory too long, especially smaller stores with limited space.
