The Official DF Galaxy Nexus Pre-Release Thread

Two weeks ago I pointed out that Verizon dropped the RAZR and Rezound prices to 289.99 online for what I thought was a price drop due to the Nexus coming out the following week. Last week they bumped them back up to 299.99 which may have been because of the delay of the Nexus. Now they are back down to 289.99. Maybe it's because the Nexus release is finally here this week?

This probably means nothing. But there has to be something behind the 299 289 shuffle.

They both are still listed at 299 on the website for me...

well, technically not free. I do pay for the insurance every month. But I didn't have to pay any deductible.

... between my last post, your post, and this post... the price is back to $299.99. Maybe Verizon is really just messing with me. Clearly the delays on the Nexus are only until my 30 day return is up... and now they're changing prices around to really toy with me.

Who here can remember their entire personal mobile device history? Link to pics of each device if you can find one...

Note: I just used my 2000th post to try and keep people in this thread happy... that is how much you guys mean to me!!

Switched to Verizon with Droid 1 - November 2009
upgraded to Nexus??? - December 2011 (hopefully)

I almost got the enV touch instead of mt droid..that would have sucked aswell lol :blink:

I went from the krzr to rokr to droid 1 to nexus? (coincidentally have only had moto phones)

I had some shortel push to talk junk from from Sprint, Envy, and lastly Droid. That is not counting all the work blackberries I have been through.

I know I am getting burnt out. I have a pretty good feeling that the phone isn't releasing this week. I knew it wasn't Sunday so I only "skimmed" the 35 pages from Friday.. :blink:

I haven't had a lot of phones but here is my list:

Nokia 3310 on Cingular,
Moto Razr on Verizon,
Envy 2 (the orange one) on Verizon,
OG Droid on Verizon,
and hopefully soon, the Nexus on Verizon
