It has to do with Federal regulations from a buyout several years ago which could end in a fine against VZW.

My phone list is:

Motorola T720 (verizon)
Samsung SCH A790 (verizon) loved this flip phone
Samsung I730 PDA (verizon) windows phone
Blackberry 8830 world edition (verizon)
Motorola Droid 1 (verizon)
Galaxy Nexus (verizon) -->SOMEDAY<--- lol

I noticed I had a lot of global phones and for no reason, I gotta say on the list the Moto Droid has been the best but for its time the SCH A790 still holds a soft spot. Phone never gave me any trouble, was the baddest lil clamshell ever and had a $350 price tag with 2yr plan, most expensive phone to date I've owned.

Still waiting for the Nexus impaitiently but I have a gd feeling about this week, I really believe this is it guys, let's hope so

I read somewhere VZW doesnt want Google wallet because they want to start there own wallet

Verizon already has a deal with another company called ISIS, which is in direct competition with Google Wallet. The problem he's talking about is, Verizon is attempting to block Google Wallet altogether which is illegal. The Fed put regulations in like this so companies couldn't cause monopolies.

Makes sense VZW wants all the action. If there were two companys to choose from it would probably be easier for everyone to use Google because they are wright there.

well, technically not free. I do pay for the insurance every month. But I didn't have to pay any deductible.

Is that the VZW insurance?
