Did the guy who bought from BB get a display model... why would a phone that has never been turned on have burn in?

Go into the GSM Nexus forum in xda. Plenty of people had this problem when you turn the brightness down and go in low lit places.

I think the only thing you really missed out on was the website that tells you if the G-Nex has been released on VZW yet... it got posted about 8 times throughout the day yesterday.

Someone decided it needed it's own thread, so we got that going on for us too, which is nice.

It would really surprise me if the Nexus was released anytime soon, considering there has been 0 marketing. Other than geeks like us, there would be no one that would know the phone exists. I'm thinking late December, early Jan.

Yeah, my wife and I just finished season 5 on Netflix. The fact that you root for the serial killer tells you the writers are doing something right. Dexter's personality and internal dialog is very well done.

I remember thinking back to the very first episode: My wife and I watched it and we were like "what the f?" this is too messed up. So we put it on the back burner for a couple months, then came back to it and ended up loving it. We proceeded to power-watch all five seasons in record time.

Just do it! Get past the first episode and you'll be hooked.

Yeah, I may have to force the issue of watching the first episode and then it will be a lot easier going from there.

If you want to know the true definition of "power-watch", try watching 1 seasons of 24 in 24 hours... My roommates and I watched season 4 (I think it was) during finals week of our Jr. year. Started at 10AM and went straight through.

Dexter is great. The other show I am totally hooked on is Justified. I could honestly say it is one of the best shows on TV. I can't wait for the next season to begin next month.

I've considered Justified... Timothy Olyphant is a pretty kick ass actor, it is just getting harder and harder to add new shows and after getting burned a few times (Flash Forward, Heroes, Studio 60, The Unit, Jericho, Defying Gravity...) I kind of like to see a show hit it's 3rd or 4th season before going back and starting at the beginning.

Is there really anything new to talk about with the G-Nex? P3 is out of the picture now, had to give his device up and lost his connections for the time being.

Everyone has been disheartened by this device and it's release and this has become the hang out for those who love the phone but hate waiting. If anything new does come up, you can be sure it will be posted here, but in the mean time, why not just relax and join the fellowship?

Damn, that's intense. My wife, one of my best friends and myself, power-watched all six Star Wars in one day. She had never seen them and I thought it was a good idea. It's safe to say I ruined it for her.

Getting burned is becoming the norm lately. Seems like Fox is quick to pull the trigger on a lot of shows.

For me, the single biggest disappointment was when NBC killed Heroes, even though I knew it needed to happen. Season one was so unbelievable well done - a little too well done I guess.
