So if this is off topic, can I talk about how awful the bunions on my feeties are??? They are like the size of softballs, yellowish, green pus filled corns.

Disclaimer: I don't really have bunions!

I'm sorry if I've upset anyone. But it looks like the only ICS you'll be getting is one from blue bunny. :p

Other than online, how much marketing have any of the Nexus phones gotten really? I think I recall one Sprint commericial featuring the Nexus S, but I don't think there has ever been a major marketing campaign outside of Google for the Nexus phones. That said, since Verizon managed to get their logo on the phone while nobody else has might lead to some level of marketing by them, but nothing like their Droid commercials.

There are lot of people who know about Nexus devices, all my nontechnical friends heard about it. There are ads for nexus phones all over the web. Online ads reach way more people than TV ads. A TV channel has 2.000.000 viewers, the Internet has 2.000.000.000 users and I saw that Google is pushing it's ads thru AdSense.

yeah I agree, I have had a few friends who know next to nothing about phones ask me if I have heard the release date of the Nexus. It may not be a huge number but people outside the forums do know this phone exists.

Take it over the off-topic thread and we will, trust me!

This is true.

It was becoming increasigly difficult for people who do not follow this thread at all times to find any useful information besides trying to figure out what to watch on TV and what to drink while doing so. This was necessary to keep us all well informed and having a good time.

I'ma be mad if I went through all of that work to try and make everyone happy and then this thread just dies or even worse, the on-topic thread kicks it's butt in post count haha.... and just because this is off-topic doesn't mean we can't talk about the G-Nex... it's just a place for people that want to talk about the G-Nex and more!!

You know what stinks the most out of this, my D1 has been so good to me and I have fallen in love with the pure Google experience and the ease of rooting and roming with it, that I just can't bring myself to buy anything but the Nexus now. My D1 is dying slowly though, at some point I won't be able to wait any longer.

I know I will be posting in both, here I get to share all my cheesy jokes and one liners and "over there" I get to let out my frustrations on the Nexus delays.

I would say the best way to handle the 2 threads is to treat this one as the main thread and is to be used exactly the same as the old one was. And when a new article or leaked information comes up we post it in the other one for those who do not want to skim through the talk about bunions etc. Info and off-topic can be discussed here and just info in the other one.

Does that make sense to anyone other than myself?
