I just called my local verizon yet again(I hope they don't recognize my voice by now), and the conversation went;

Me: Hello, do you guys know if you will be selling the Galaxy Nexus tomorrow?

Retailer: Uhhh, all our stores have all the units and we were supposed to be selling them tomorrow but this new feature call Google Wallet has been causing some problems so we're not to sure. It is still possible, but as of right now it's not likely.

Me: Ah, alright, well thanks.

You have to be a signer on the account. I am in a family plan, my brother is signer on the account, I am 26 but I still need him to go with me ......fingers crossed......tomorrow

with a call to verizon you can be made the "co-primary" that's what my dad did for me as I keep dealing with phone stuff. All you need to know is the acct pw, you don't have authority to change it but they make a note on your number that you are the "co-primary"
