I'd go to bed, but I'd likely just lay there for hours, so I'll be up online until I'm tired enough to just fall asleep on the spot.

Im in black friday mode. Stay up, hoof off the sleep until i get what i want then sleep once i have it. Cant wait. Ill be too tired to play with nexus but ill sleep with it. itl be like a teddy bear. Im not going to let anybody touch it, its not coming out of the box at all until im home and not sleeping. Its not Vz reps job to enjoy the unboxing mine. So in review get nexus, fall asleep, then take nexus out of box and activate. :biggrin:

That sounds like a good plan.

But what I'll be doing is probably staying up until around 3 or 4:00 a.m., maybe even 5:00 a.m if I'm still not tired, sleep for about 4 hours, wake up and make sure everyone here has theirs and Verizon didn't suddenly pull a "Dec 9th" on us again, then go a few minutes before 10 and hopefully be in there and out in no time. Then I'll play with it at home for maybe an hour or so, and probably take another 4 hour nap cuddled next to my Nexus as we both give a sigh of relief from finally being together.

I'm on west coast time though so it's barely 1 here =\

I'm awake! Gonna take care of a couple of the morning S's then head off to work. Is 5:30 here on the East Coast (in Atlanta). Considering traffic, will be at work around 8am-ish. Waste 45 minutes, then out the door to wait for the nearest Verizon to open up. I'm STOKED! Will post pictures if I can....but, not sure how that will work. I can send a picture of the D3 I will no longer be using?

Ok, so let me get this right :

1 Get the Gnex, but don't activate it
2 Unlock the bootloader
3 Root it
4 Then activate it and set it up

Right?
Also is there files out there to unroot if necessary?

I do not recommend going out for 1-2 beers with your friends on a work night.. It's never 1-2 beers and sitting at my desk at 5am after crawling in the door at midnight is going to make for a rough day. Or so I thought. I wake up to see its all going to be alright because I was wrong and the Nexus is finally here! This day would have been absolute hell otherwise. Thank you Verizon!
