I need to know this too, I'm on a time constraint. I want to buy it without activating and activate when I get home later.

Just talked to a friend who runs a corporate store in Hampton Roads, Va, his sales reps all are an hour out on appointments. Meaning if you walk into the store it will be atleast an hour before one of them can see you.

I don't know if they were "set" appointments are what he was just calling it when customers walked in at opening.
