Upon the release of the GNex it will be a great time be a Verizon sales person, these devices would sell themselves, i wonder if they change the commission structure based on device popularity..

You're kidding, right? The general populace doesn't know much about the nexus. I get very few inquiries about the phone a week. No device sells itself other than the iPhone, unfortunately.

Verizon doesn't change comp structures for devices based on popularity, either. Otherwise I wouldn't hate the iphone so damn much.

No i was not kidding i was speculating as i never worked as a Cell Phone salesman, i do have a couple of employees with cell phone sales on their resume so i will ask to satisfy my Curiosity. as far as the Nexus, enough people are watching the forums and are aware of ICS to make me believe it will sell very well. I would guess they will over a 100k units on launch day.

Let's take it easy on rude comments towards Verizon employees guys. Every place (Best Buy, Frys etc.) will have employees that are lacking in product knowledge (and I'm not talking about device launch dates)

I like Verizon employees... Who would maintain the Verizon toy store for us to go play in? Who would we buy our phones from?

The local news station actually ran a blurb during their "TechBytes" segment this morning basically saying that according to Samsung "The highly anticipated Android 4.0 codenamed Ice Cream Sandwich will be launching 'very soon' on the Galaxy Nexus... critics say that it is a clear contender.....blah blah blah....iphone....blah blah blah...."

I was just amazed to hear the words Galaxy Nexus come through my TV. It made me a little gitty even though I had already seen the source their entire report was based on.

I feel ya on this one man. Everytime someone posts one of these funny videos, such as the people (including the creative one lol) waiting in line for the iphone, I giggle at the site of the Nexus at the end

OK, now I take what I hear from the employees at the corporate Verizon stores with a grain of salt but I thought I'd share. According to the manager at my local store, he said the last he heard was Dec. 15th release. Now, that is a Thursday - a week after the latest rumored release - so there could be something to it. Again, take it as you may ... just thought I'd add to the chaos

But this is not on 4GLTE, right? I imagine with 4G we may not see those kind of numbers ... but you never know. One thing I was impressed with while I had the Razr for a shirt stint (6 days) was the battery life. So, if Moto can do it ... LOL

While I know this isn't a 1-to-1 trade, keep in mind that adding LTE also means you are adding an extra 1000mAh to the battery, as well.

Ah, yes ... so very true!! I am not concerned with battery life - coming from a TBolt ANYTHING (I hope!) will be an improvement LMAO!

Looks like it was a software issue.
