The Official Galaxy Nexus Screenshot Thread

How did you get the Text for you dock options??!?!?! looks amazing. and how did you get that picture that was obviously taking from my patio?

Found the picture on the interwebz :) The icons are "TallMin by Lekky", you can easily find them with a Google search. I used Desktop Visualizer to make a widget/shortcut on my desktop, which I then dragged down to the dock. Hope that helps!

well it's a screenshot not of my homepage though.. that black line towards the right on the graph was my first random reboot..

Does anyone know the screen size, in pixels, so I can make my BG's in Photoshop to fit perfectly? Like just the main screen, I know that overall it's bigger inside the phone for scrolling.

As a rule of thumb, (2*portrait width) x portrait height, or as The Race to Die gave you, 1440x1280.

Have you tried using doing 720x1280 instead of 1440x1280?

That's just the screen pixels.. I need like.. width and height of the actual screen so I can place it on top of the 1440x1280 wallpaper.

I'm not sure I understand? The screen pixels do represent the width and height of the screen. The 1440x1280 is a double width image - where I was going was, "would it fix the background if you made the wallpaper the exact same pixel dimensions as the screen?"

So the screen, 4.65 inches , in pixels is 1080x720p? If I had the PSD right now that I used for the Droid and Droid 3, I'd give you an example, but I don't. The wallpaper is meant to fit the whole screen, scrolling and all. What I want, is the demensions of just one screen solo. Like when you hit home, I want my main focus on the first screen you see. The rest is meh to me because the home screen is the main screen I am on. I tried taking a screen shot then look at the details and heoght and width, but it just shows zero for each.

One screen only has a resolution of 720x1280. Take a screenshot, and view its resolution. You'll see.

Actually, I was under the impression that the screen was 1280x720, irrespective of the size of the screen. What I was hoping was that, if you used that size, it would "lock" to it and not scroll (which I would think would happen with a larger wallpaper)?

I'm sorry, trying to help, but perhaps I'm on a track of increasing density?

Oh its no problem, I may be wrong. I'll test it out once I get home tonight. Just skeptical because the screen on the rezound is smaller, yet still 1080x720.

I understand that - I thought what BenLand150 was looking to achieve was a home screen that didn't scroll, and in the absence of options to lock the wallpaper like other launchers have, I thought, "Hey, why not try a wallpaper that just matches the dimensions of the screen?" And this may be where I'm getting dense.
