I just recieved my new Droid RAZR this past weekend and my only complaint is that the battery sucks. Now I hear there is going to be a new RAZR called the "RAZR MAXX" which will have the 3300 battery. Why didn't Motorola just put this battery in the original RAZR in the first place. STupid

You have 14 days to return it. The Maxx has an extended battery so its going to be thicker.

I also hear that the MAXX will have a 32gb SD card instead of the 16gb. I still can't find any dates as to when it will be available from Verizon.

A few days ago we heard is a couple weeks, so I'm guessing less than a couple weeks, now. Its going to be $100 more at $300 vs $200.

I have just read that there is an extended battery for the original RAZR 3500mah battery. hmmm interesting!

I don't see the complaint about the battery. My Razr lasted for a day and a half without a charge. To me, it has the same battery performance as the DX and that wasn't all that bad. It was worth it, the only other phone I would've bought is the D4

Yeah, the battery isnt a big deal for me either. I charge it every night and it lasts just fine.

That 32gb Micro SD card, though... not that I really have use for so much space on a phone.

well 32gb SD cards sell for about 40 bucks if its really necessary

The maxx has 32GB internal storage, not sure about SD card. Razr has 16GB internal and 16GB SD card (upgradeable 32GB.) So plenty of room

Recent review says MAXX has 16GB internal and 16GB SD like it's smaller twin.


Also both will accept 64GB cards.

Battery is completely fine if you know how to use switches or the smart actions correctly. No different then any other smartphone I have used.

My only minor complaints are that with a case on, 1hand operation can be a bit hard at times. And the mini usb & micro hdmi connections being on the top of the phone. Like I said, minor problems.

Internal speaker is fine. Try to have the audio in the video file as MP3.

I looked up alot of reviews of the razr before I picked it up and most of the negative feedback was over the battery life and speaker volume. As mentioned before, both are fine. Speaker mode in a phone call may be a bit low in volume though.

Coming from an iphone3g, I absolutely love this phone! Best phone I have ever owed. I can finally say goodbye to Apple for good!!

Just bit the Razr @ Costco, been trying to avoid this....i'm hopeless. Coming off the Droid X... No real reason, but wanted faster internet.
And now we can root this Razr too?! OMG, i'm in real trouble now!
Lovin' the new device after an hour, and still lovin' the Droid forums. Now to dl all my old apps. I'll root in a week our so...
