Got mine Monday, and have been busy playing and trying to figure out how to do things. I didn't use my Droid X anywhere near it's potential, but I really want to give this one a workout. Just got my screen protector today, and it fits my Droid X holster pretty well, so no rush to fix that, although would like one that fits. I had a tough time with ColorNotes, but I think I've finally conquered that, and finally got all my icons and pages squared away. I LOVE this, but the predictive typing is a nightmare.

I didn't have NEARLY the problems with the Droid X, and what's aggravating is if you turn off the predictive, you lose SWYPE!

Yah i just figured that out ivwent to turn off the predictive word now no swip that sucks

first thing i did was download swype beta..

Also, power button on the side annoys me. I keep hitting the volume rocker and changing the volume/vibrate.. this phone was not designed for us lefties. lol

Yes they could be have designed to the power button alignment. To the volume of button a bit better

I don't understand. Isn't this SWYPE that we have on here, already? Whatever it is, it's not nearly as efficient as what I have on the Droid X. If they are different, then is there something I need to know to switch them?

Cool! I like the white, but really thought the blue would be pretty. Didn't occur to me that it's going to end up covered up, in the end, so it wouldn't have mattered. <G>

Got mine a few days ago

I have a chace to play with it a bit and have the following observations. This phone replaced a Samsung Charge.

Love the screen.... large & bright. Very responsive & nice touch feed back.

Super fast processor.

Looks nice & feels good.

Not as many bloatware apps as my old Charge! Thank god for that.

The Bad:

Poor b@ttery life...but found that when I shut phone totally off & recharged the battery life improved greatly.

I do not get near as many bars for reception as I did with the Charge but have not had any issues usibg the phone.

I get about the same battery life on the S3, as I did with the Droid X, and I'm playing a LOT more. <G>

I am not in a 4G area yet, but strangely, in some parts of my apt, I actually get 1 4G bar! <LOL> Generally get 3+ on 3G, depending on where I am.
