I sure do love my DroidX, but it has so many problems right now I can't recommend any n00b getting one. My mom is 68 and says that when she retires she will get one to play with, but right now, she wants to be able to "call" people. she has an original envy, and finally learned to text.
She did have a problem with the "send" part tho. She thought if you just typed in the grandkids name it would go there. Finally the recipient texted back "I am not your sweetie pie, please stop texting me, my wife doesnt like it"

Ha my dad still doesn't own a laptop he uses a word processor he's pretty old school and he has a flip phone no camera or anything ha

Mon on the other hand a little better she has a computer rather than a typewriter type thing she had my old phone the lg versa which is a semi smart phone she just used it to send me almost unreadable texts in all caps lol
