The Ultimate Droid 1.0.0 - Droid 1 Only

I wiped cache but not data. I wiill try again with a totally clean install since my issues seem to be isolated and report my results back.

I am sure someone posted this already but I don't feel like going back through all the pages to find out (yes I am lazy, haha). But when in a call the mute and speakerphone button are right on top of eachother. It makes for an awkward moment for everyone involved to see them so intimately entwined.

My GPS is really screwy now. With previous versions, I never had a problem, but now it hardly ever locks a signal and then loses it frequently. I use navigation all the time, so this is quite a downer... Any suggestions? I did wipe data/cache when installing.

Yea mine was ok until I added Golden Elegance theme, Maybe I'll get ahold of Kook.........

I'm using Golden Elegance also. It was fine before I installed Golden Elegance. It was messed up on first reboot. I rebooted again and it fixed the overlap and hasn't come back since.

I'm liking this ROM alot.

I started with UD a long time ago, then was a loyal BB user until 0.5 (seems laggy after a few days for me).

I am on my 3rd day with UD 1.0.0 and I still haven't charged my battery!

Using the stock UD 1.0.0 kernel (slayer) with Compcache enabled.

Only bug I have seen is where I got into some kind of music next track skipping bug while using the volume keys to change the track....had to reboot to fix.

Find using the phone 3 days with moderate use and no charge VERY hard to believe. Curious to see your setup setting though

I am using the stock UD kernel and screen timeout settings. Let me give some background information for you guys.

I cannot bring my phone into where I work, so I always shutoff my phone for the 9 hours I am there. Now before everyone starts saying of course it lasts a long time like that, I will tell you that on every other ROM I could only get about 18-20hrs before my phone would die (including work time).

On UD 1.0.0 I made it 36-40hrs.

My GPS had no problem at all getting me to where I had to go.

Oh and to the lockscreen dudes?
Try Widget Locker for an alternative, its great and you can customize another slide (as well put widgets on your homescreen)

that's a handy piece of information to leave out there dude lol.

Why not just say that you have twice the battery life than you used to?

Yes I know I overlooked the fact that I needed to do a total wipe, no need to flame me for it. I'm glad to report that these issues have since subsided and I'm now fully enjoying this rom once again.

I do miss something from the late UD extreme series though: the hack to make LED notifications rainbow. Anyone know if that's going to make a comeback?

Hope this will help

Does anyone have a idea on how to remove the 'ultimate droid' logo on the lock screen ? It was ok until I install a Theme (Golden Elegance) now it's right in the way of my Time. No biggie, just thought I would delete it, but I went to the file in the drawable-hdpi-v4>lockscreen_background and i couldn't delete it, even mounting r/w in root explorer.

Mine was that way after the first boot. I rebooted and it restarted correctly and has stayed that way. Give reboot a try.

I'm using the rotary lock screen.

Hey try putting this in place of lockscreen. It's easily fixed on gimp or photoshop. You can use Ninja Morph to easily replace the files.

I feel like I'm the only one NOT having any issues! Everything has been flawless here! Best ROM to date and I've ran almost all of them! Thank you to BD, RafficaX, and the rest of the team! This was DEF worth the wait!! dancedroid :blackdroid: :blackdroid: dancedroid

agreed! i have no issues what so ever. great rom. but the stock kernal is a little slow for my taste, but still a solid one by far. what do you recommend? i was thinking maybe a standard 1 ghz

This Rom is fantastic, for me, it´s the best looking. Swype does not work with this Rom, so I when back to Lithium Rom.
