The Ultimate Droid 1.0.0 - Droid 1 Only

i feel like this is ud8 with launcherpro. im gonna try o run this for a day but idk if i really like it. first the lock screen, i hope you guys have big plans for that becaause idk why it needs to be all the way at the bottom. second, why launcherpro? i see alot of roms doing that but i love the stock look.

all in all this is a great rom and i cant wait for updates to see whats in store for this rom.

and you would be 100% incorrect. this is 2.2.1, not 2.2. it is based off the newest n1 update that just came out, frg83.

also has more options built in and more features. so just based upon the build number its completely different that 8.0.

I am using set spu and the clocking in the menu is unchecked as well.

funny thing is, when i used setcpu last, i had bad battery life also. not sure why. but i tried sapphire 1.1.1 and used built in overclocking and not setcpu and have never looked back bc my battery last longer than with setcpu. weird, i know. try another kernel, posssibly slayer or chevy. cvpcs kernels will not work, if you try turning wifi on with them u get reboots til u flash a new kernel.

are u set to performance or ondemand?

Well I just uninstalled setcpu and checked the other one to see how it does now. But I know with ud0.8 my battery life was great and I was using slahyer 1.2 kernel with setcpu....I always have it on on demand as well

I am pretty excited about this release! I am going to wait a bit to flash it until I see all the kinks worked out and all the questions answered. My biggie is I hope that the GPS lock works faster then 10 min in this release that would be awesome! Oh and waiting for revolution theme!!dancedroid

Not sure waiting is a good idea if your waiting till kinks get worked out. This appears to be a Final release. Not sure another is coming for quite some time.... Like a week or 2 :-)

This has probably been discussed already, but do market apps restore on their own? I've been waiting a while, but nothing yet.

Thank you and thanks to BD and the UltimateDroid Team for a great release.

:icon_eek: SOMEONE PLEASE PORT GALAXY S THEME TO THIS...LIKE GALAXY/NEXTHEME MIX...SOMETHING HELL CUS THIS DESERVES IT, IT ROCKS...BOOM...!

Ok,things have settled down. Responding much better.

I uninstalled some apps which leads me to the question:

when using UD Backup for Apps, what is the folder name? I think when I ran restore apps upon re-installation, it picked up older apps from a prior verision of UD, hence the complications.

I would like to delete that folder and start anew.

Thanks!

I just noticed when ur in browser and u click menu and windows and close the windows out after u close the last window it FC instead of reloading defalf homepage. Not that big of a problem but u may want to look into it.

Hmm, I am trying to restore my applications with TIBU and each time that it tries to install anything I get a quick reboot, anybody having (had) the same problem?

*I am getting the same problem when I try to install gmail from the UD menu. So I would say that my problem is not limited to TiBu

have you overclocked your phone or installed a different kernel?
