The Ultimate Droid 2.0.0 - Droid 1

Hate to say it but I'm on to other roms until this rom is fixed or a new one comes out. Been pretty happy with UD so far but I'm pretty disappointed with this release mainly because of the lack of support. UD has always been super smooth but this release just isn't right. Been getting excessive heat and rebooting along with all of the other common issue with 2.0.0. This release doesn't seem up to par with what BD usually puts out...

Love the new call screen... much cleaner look.

Don't mind the bounce. Maybe tone it back... but for someone with ADD it gives me something to do.

Had the gallery problems (removed with RootExplorer, searched rayman50 and installed gallery 3d from market.)

Camera fix posted worked for me.

Bluetooth I don't use often... not sure if mine is bugged. Imagine it is.

Can't change Wallpapers without a reboot.

ADW is the only thing I've had FC although it almost never FC'd with UD1.0

Can't think of any other problems...

Running: UD2.0 w/ Evolution Theme by Luigi and Chevy's 1100 ulv kernel.


EDIT: Swype finally installed but FC's like crazy immediately and non-stop until you un-check it.

i am not having the issue of needing to reboot when switching wallpapers but i think there is an easier solution to this problem.
i had a similar problem on a previous rom so i dont think it only pertains to this one.
but i found that after changing the wallpaper if nothing hapens, simply go into ADW settings, or whatever home replacement, and restart the home app.
that has proven to work for me instead of needing to reboot!

This rom is perfect! No problems! Pandora 1.5.1 . Wi-Fi is great. Bluetooth great. Etc..

Normally UD has worked great for me. This go around I have been having some weird issues. Phone has been rebooting on its own, mainly when I try using the bluetooth. Thats a new one for me.
Also, when I try different themes a small piece of each theme is left behind. I'll get notification bar from one, icons from another and lock screen from another. It has been happening with launcher and adw.

Hot reboot does not work everytime, option to disable shutdown/reboot prompt does not work. Also with this new lockscreen (which btw i hate) does not look good at all with a theme over top of it. Might be going back to MIUI. Only thing i seem to like on this rom is the power widget in the notification bar. Im not liking this release as much as i know i should...

Sorry you all are so unhappy. This is the best ROM I have had in a while.

jellybean420 - The lock-screen only looks as good as the themers feel like putting into it. I spent time recreating my graphics for the rotary lock, and even the standard lock to make it look great.

chadwick108 - You can log onto FB?

Jasko - Anyone who uses camera zoom is an idiot. It is the worst thing ever created. It just crops in so you get really low quality. As for the call screens I agree... I dont like the new Phone app, i reverted back to the old one.

I converted back to 1.0. Camera zoom wasn't working, incoming call screen was messed up, etc.

You can fix the call screen by dropping in a different Phone.apk. I put in the one from UD 7, and got the stock call screen with smoked buttons.

I've got the Camera.apk from one of the CM nightlies, which works better, but still messed up zoom and occasional FCs. Still looking for a better one.

Love this ROM! But it does have its slight issues. I am sure the devs will have it covered! Right now I am trying to find a kernel that will give me enough juice to last thru out the day. I know that specific kernels aren't for everyone. Wish me luck! Again thanks for the ROM devs!

Sorry you all are so unhappy. This is the best ROM I have had in a while.

I am very pleased with this ROM and I'm also using Luna theme. There were some glitches but easy to remedy (e.g. updating Launcher Pro, FC's on the tether apps).

I'm running the Slayher 1.1ghz kernel and it's smooth like butter.

I also dig the outrageous overscroll bounce: I feel like it makes the touchscreen more responsive if that makes any sense.

It's a shame so many people are reporting unresolved problems.

Koush (The dev of ROM Manager) tweeted earlier that the service may be out today. It is an issue with the hosting of the files, not with this ROM.
