does anyone know what version of Swype gets installed with UD 2.0 when you choose to install swype withing the UD Settings menu? is it the newest version? 2.10.52.13753 ?

The one that comes with UD is the previous version. 2.4.44 something. There is thread on how to install the latest Swype. You must be a member of the closed Swype beta to do it:

i dont know lF THIS Has already been discussed but i cannot get rom manager to flash phone. i keep getting an error messsage regarding internet connection.sorry if this has already been mentioned

Koush (The dev of ROM Manager) tweeted earlier that the service may be out today. It is an issue with the hosting of the files, not with this ROM.

I ACTUALLY FIXED IT. I CLeaRed The DATA Then FC APP AND REbo0TeD.ISSUeThen RES0LVeD. ThanKS F0R The NOTE Th0Ugh.

Sorry you all are so unhappy. This is the best ROM I have had in a while.

I am very pleased with this ROM and I'm also using Luna theme. There were some glitches but easy to remedy (e.g. updating Launcher Pro, FC's on the tether apps).

I'm running the Slayher 1.1ghz kernel and it's smooth like butter.

I also dig the outrageous overscroll bounce: I feel like it makes the touchscreen more responsive if that makes any sense.

It's a shame so many people are reporting unresolved problems.

I would ,Like to inform you Anuraj-1 that i am from India and the best rom for Motorola droid in India with all features functional is Smoked Glass Rom version sg84-update . Try it it is too fast and you will have everything working.

Nice to meet you imagecolour. I haven't given that ROM a try yet, but I will check it out. Do you have the Droid in India or is it the Milestone?

Also, as far as having everything working, one of the things I love about custom ROMs is that it takes a little bit of tinkering from the user to get it all working perfectly. It proves over and over again that Android users are much smarter than iphone users!

Anuraj1 I have a Motorola droid and a Motorola Milestone.I am using the motorola droid in India.I am among the very few previlaged people here hahahahahaha, and belive me try smoked glass sg84-update , it is version 8 i believe and it is by far best than any rom out there, they have 9 but it is not as good as 8, any thing mail me or pm me, i will help

So india must be one of the few countries on the cdma network. I believe china is as well.

India is having CDMA network from past 12 years, but we in India have SIM based CDMA rather than non SIM based CDMA

Change the governor from Interactive to OnDemand. That should resolve the battery use issue.

Normally UD has worked great for me. This go around I have been having some weird issues. Phone has been rebooting on its own, mainly when I try using the bluetooth. Thats a new one for me.
Also, when I try different themes a small piece of each theme is left behind. I'll get notification bar from one, icons from another and lock screen from another. It has been happening with launcher and adw.

Maintained the notification screen from Renovated
sms and market screens from twizt'd blue
notification bar from revolution
the extra dock buttons from ud galaxy sense
and the icons and coloring from new yorks adw. White.

Weird, but kinda makes a pretty cool combo.

The only issues I've noticed so far are the gallery glitch which isn't a big deal and UD settings. When I install a different font, keyboard, app, anything in the UD Extra category it doesn't make the change. I didn't have this problem with 1.0. Has anyone else had this problem?

Is there an update we need to install that has the fixed gallery or? And I've done it and rebooted more than once but I've gotten nothing so far. Other than being able to change the lockscreen but that's just a check box. Hmm I don't know why it's not letting me

can someone running this answer a question for me? when you have the pin unlock turned on, if you enter the combination, does it automatically unlock if its correct or do you have to press ok. cm 6.1 has this and i love it
